The sirens of Haverhill CC have taken a hold on El Presidente and other members of the Tuesday Night Divots. Del was working on putting together the Banquet since our normal date was booked at TJ’s, however, he too has fallen prey to the sirens. At this point, it’s not looking good for a banquet (at least in 2018) and the updated trophy is gathering dust in my garage.
Rumor has it El Presidente will be taking a sabbatical and we will be looking for a new leader in 2019. If you want to be considered please send in your nomination papers by 1/31/2019. It is unclear how many spots will be open for the 2019 season. First dibs will be given to last years absentees and last years alternates per league by-law. If your last name is not Maguire and you would like to get a new player into the league to fill any vacancies, let someone know.
Hopefully we can get together in late February or early March to elect a new Dictator and/or to go over any new rules or other topics deemed necessary. I don’t have everyone’s email list, so if you are reading this please use the links on this site to submit your email. Also, if you are reading this please reach out to other members of the league to let them know of the latest developments and have them submit their email.
